Crew Chief Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead and complete remediation jobs according to the SERVPRO® processes
- Coordinate requirements for the job and supervise to completion including scope, sketches, pictures, job data, etc.
- Communicate effectively and establish professional relationships with residential and commercial customers, insurance representatives, technicians, adjusters, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Set up and establish efficient job flow daily
- Monitor assigned jobs from start to finish
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site
- Respond to service calls
Qualifications:
- Experience in restoration work related to clean up from damage caused by water, fire, and mold.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Experience leading and supervising a team
- IICRC certifications highly preferred
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to travel locally or out of state when necessary
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required
- Prior Servpro experience a huge plus!
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work with/around chemicals and cleaning products
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
- Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
- Ability to successfully complete all background checks, subject to applicable laws, including criminal background, drug testing, employment verification and valid driver license verifications.
